Today's picture is from the Maldives. The GoPro opens up a lot of photography avenues relatively cheaply. In my head I expected this shot would be quite easy to take but stability in the water is not the easiest thing. I guess I just assumed I would be able to stand on sea-bed.
Composition-wise, managing the angles at play was the real challenge. Tilt too high and you'll miss the canoes, tilt too low and you get too much of the surface and not much below. Of course if I had spent the extra $$$ for the LCD add-on that would not be an issue. Anyway, still managed a decent shot for a first time experience in the water. Particularly considering it was shot blind.
